Press Release: BREATHLESS - project development now underway

In total, six innovative and artistically convincing project concepts were chosen by the international selection committee within the framework of the Czech-German documentary film project Breathless. The joint project was created by Zipp German-Czech Cultural Projects, an initiative of the German Federal Cultural Foundation, and is managed by Institute of Documentary Film (IDF) in Prague and DOK Leipzig. The aim of the bilateral cultural programme is to support outstandingly creative and courageous documentary film concepts and to address socially relevant issues.

INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITY FOR HUNGARIAN DOCUMENTARY FILM

BUDAPEST/ PILISCSABA – Contemporary Hungarian film receives an opportunity for an international exposure. Budapest ans Piliscsaba will host the international workshop Ex Oriente Film (30 May - 3 June), organized by the Institute of Documentary Film (IDF), a Czech organization, whose slogan is “Doc Industry with Joy and Creativity”.

Documentary projects for Slovak documentary filmmakers

1st workshop of the Ex Oriente Film Trainning program that takes place in Bratislava offers professional consultancy for Slovak filmmakers and their documentary projects. The consultant are Simone Baumann (Le Vision Film) and Sabine Bubeck-Paaz (ZDF/ARTE).
